Kylie Mc Gee |
Kylie started started training the family dog dog when she was 19 years old using 'traditional methods.'
When she was 18 years old, she got her own dog and took him to a "traditional" dog training club. After six months was asked to leave as her dog had become a "danger to those around him". With no help from the club she looked eslewhere.
In 2000 she became interested in dog behaviour and got a job at a vet clinic, and started her Veterinary Nursing Certificate.
It was through nursing that she attended her first seminar on "positive reinforcement methods." This is where she heard about the Delta Canine Good Citizen Instructors Course.

Jenaya |
Jenaya has a passion for animals and decided to become a dog training instructor to help rehabilitate rescue dogs. She has completed the Certificate III in Dog Training and Behaviour through the National Dog Trainers Federation and has since co-founded Halfway Home Animal Rescue. She sees too many dogs ending up in the pound system because people aren’t educated enough on what it takes to have a happy balanced dog. She hopes to assist people in understanding their dog’s needs and help ensure a lifetime commitment between person and dog. Her life isn’t complete without a dog in it.
