Kylie started started training the family dog dog when she was 19 years old using 'traditional methods.'
When she was 18 years old, she got her own dog and took him to a "traditional" dog training club. After six months was asked to leave as her dog had become a "danger to those around him". With no help from the club she looked eslewhere.
In 2000 she became interested in dog behaviour and got a job at a vet clinic, and started her Veterinary Nursing Certificate.
It was through nursing that she attended her first seminar on "positive reinforcement methods." This is where she heard about the Delta Canine Good Citizen Instructors Course.
2003 - She completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing and the Delta CGC Instructors Course. The Delta Course encouraged her to start her own dog training business. At this time she also started conducting "Puppy Preschools" at her vet clinic.
2000 to date- She regularly attends seminars, workshops and conferences to update her knowledge within the animal behavioural field.
2005 - Joined the team at Boroondara Dog Training.
