Emma has been mad about animals since she was a little girl - particularly horses and dogs. Emma's mother used to breed border collies so Emma has always had lots of dogs around her from a young age.
Emma has been a veterinary nurse for nearly 13 years after she initially took a nursing job 'for the summer' and has never left! Emma currently works as a practice manager at Greencross Vets - Ashburton where she consults to clients on multiple behavioural issues and loves running their puppyschools.
Emma is currently undertaking the Certificate IV in Behavioural Dog Training through the Delta Society of Australia and will complete this in 2011. She is owned by two border collies - Owen and Tara.
Emmas other passion is training horses using positive reward based training. Emma works with young horses and horse experiencing behavioural issues. She has rescued many many horses from a terrible fait, The horses she Who have various behavioural problems and teaching
Emmas ultimate goal is to help people understand and communicate with their animals better and enable them to develop deep bonds with their fury creatures. |
